Wij zijn voor onze opdrachtgever, Footlocker , per direct op zoek naar een startende of ervaren programmeur in de regio Nijmegen/Venlo. Jarenlange ervaring in de IT sector als programmeur is dus niet noodzakelijk, brede basiskennis en een sterke affiniteit met deze tak en de onderstaande eisen zijn wel erg belangrijk. Een uitstekende beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse de Engelse taal is een vereiste voor deze functie. Goal
The Programmer is responsible for the development of various software applications / enhancements in order to support new business opportunities and streamline day to day operation.

Overview of Essential Responsibilities
iSeries ( AS/400 )

• Provide user support on WMS related issues
• Maintaining documentation and procedures

Development

• Development of additional functionality for WMS (applications)
• Responsible for testing, configuration, evaluating of new software

WMS (PkMS)

• Problem analysis
• Database analysis

Overview of Position Requirements
Technical Content Knowledge

• Knowledge of RPG/400 or RPG IV, AS/400 CL and Query/400 (SQL)
• Functional Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Warehouse Control Systems
• Knows how to write clear, specific process descriptions
• Understands logistics and service center processes
• Knowledge of test and development environments
• Fluent oral and written communication in Dutch and English
