Job Description
As an HR Advisor at Unilever in Amsterdam, you will play a key role for both employees and managers by being the first point of contact for all HR-related matters. You will provide advice, guidance, and support on individual situations and ensure that changes are implemented correctly. You will be involved in various HR tasks such as onboarding, (international) relocations, compensation, sick leave, and employee performance at Unilever.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting managers in developing their skills and abilities;
- Acting as the point of contact for employee challenges and fostering strong relationships with both employees and managers;
- Ensuring the consistent application of current policies throughout the organization;
- Being involved in broader HR-related activities such as providing support for workshops, HR changes, wellbeing and development initiatives.
Where You Will Work
You will work at Unilever's new office in Amsterdam, and occasionally in Rotterdam. In both Amsterdam and Rotterdam, you will work in a complex and international environment where quick adaptability for handling various inquiries and issues is essential. Your team will be the go-to ´resource´ for employees regarding policies and regulations.
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), with 2-3 days in the office. This position is until the end of August.
What we offer:
- A competitive gross monthly salary between €3,700 and €5,500;
- €0.23 per kilometer when travelling by car;
- Full reimbursement of public transport costs;

What we ask:
- At least finished hbo A minimum of an HBO degree (higher professional education) or a Master's degree, preferably in HR.
- At least 3 years of experience as an HR advisor;
- Expertise in policy and regulations and the ability to navigate through complex systems;
- Experience working in an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) company is a plus;
- Fluent in English (and/or Dutch also welcome).
