Junior Supply Chain Specialist

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Managing inventory to support our company growth and stay in control.
- Analyzing, evaluating and deciding on transportation expenses to maintain control, stay cost efficient and drive cost reductions.
- Organizing and coordinating the multimodal transportation setup between our warehouse and production locations.
- Optimizing internal logistics processes, including the order picking process and the warehouse layout.
- Being the main point of contact for our logistics partners.
- Proposing and implementing improvements to keep optimizing our supply chain.
Your qualifications
- A University degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Also, candidates with a degree in Econometrics or a related field are invited to apply.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, extensive use of formulas, modeling, dashboard building).
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in Dutch is not required but is a plus.
- Proactive, collaborative, independent and results-oriented mindset.
- An eye for detail, ability to keep learning and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Experience with an ERP system is a plus.
- Knowledge of customs matters is a plus.
- Interest in working with data and systems to analyze effectively, including but not limited to
- Shipping company tooling
- E-commerce platform software
- Accounting software
