Reporting to the Manager of Internal Audit, this position requires an analytical, detail-oriented individual with a collaborative approach to identify risks, assess controls, and recommend improvements across multiple business areas. The successful candidate will have a balanced mix of technical auditing expertise and strong communication skills to influence change effectively. Your responsibilities include;

• Audit Preparation: Build relationships with stakeholders, assess risks in business processes, and develop audit work programs to address identified risks.
• Audit Execution: Test controls and processes across functions, collaborate with third-party auditors, document findings in audit tooling, evaluate control effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
• Audit Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports on observations, findings, and recommended improvements, and communicate results to the Manager of Internal Audit and other stakeholders.
• Follow-up on Action Plans: Participate in validation testing to ensure effective implementation of management's corrective actions.

You bring this

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant certification (e.g., CIA, CISA, or CPA) would be plus.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or related functions, with exposure to finance, operations, or IT auditing. Telco experience would be a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in audit software and strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to identify process inefficiencies, control weaknesses, and recommend enhancements. Ability to swiftly digest new information. Curious nature.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with management, auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Experience in working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment, including interaction with external service providers.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality audit documentation.
• You have excellent proficiency in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
