What You'll Do
At Odido, we ensure that everyone can safely participate in the digital world. As a Risk Officer, you will play a crucial role in our Governance, Risk, and Compliance team. You’ll be a key player in ensuring that our innovative spirit is matched by strong risk management practices.
Your Responsibilities:
- Drive Risk Management: Lead risk management efforts across various business units, with a focus on security, privacy, and business continuity.
- Collaborate with Leaders: Partner with leaders to identify potential risks and implement effective solutions.
- Develop Policies and Best Practices: Spearhead the creation of policies and best practices in our dynamic tech environment.
- Lead Crisis Management: Oversee crisis management processes and foster a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization.
- Guide Senior Management: Conduct risk assessments and provide strategic advice on mitigation strategies.
- Assess and Report: Monitor and report on control activities across the company.
- Set Standards: Develop and communicate standards for security, privacy, and continuity.
- Expert Consultation: Act as the go-to expert for all risk management-related queries.

What You Bring:
- Educational Background: HBO/WO level.
- Experience: At least 8 years of experience, with 5 years in Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, and/or Information Risk Management.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Security, Privacy, Business Continuity, Controls, and Risk Management frameworks (e.g., CISM, CIPM, ISO 2700x, ISO 31000).
- Analytical Skills: Strong focus on risk identification and control design & implementation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent at presenting complex topics to diverse stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Ability to bridge gaps between stakeholders with varying priorities.
- Team Player: Customer-oriented, both internally and externally.
