Full-time German customer service agent for a travel agency in Amsterdam

What are you going to do:

For a travel agency, we are looking for 3 full-time German customer service agents. The travel agency is an international company who has been helping people all across Europe. You can help their clients with the planning of their holidays or other trips that they have booked with the travel agency. 

What are your responsibilities as a full-time German customer service agent:

  • You are the first contact person for customers by phone, e-mail or chat
  • You help the customer with questions about travel trips, booking information or other products that customers can buy
  • You try to solve problems or complaints from customers as quickly as possible to make them happy again
  • You can give advice to customers about the products
  • You make sure all the administration is on point

As a full-time German customer service agent you are communicating a lot with all kind of different people from all over the world. So you can definitely can use your communication skills. This job is available for 32 to 40 hours a week. The onboarding is a training for 8 days in the office. After a successful onboarding it is possible to work from home for 2 or 3 days a week. Of course, for this position it is a requirement to be fluent in German and English. The start date of this job is 18th of November.

What we offer:

  • Salary of €13.80 per hour, plus extra for irregular hours
  • Travel allownce is covered (€0.19 per km with a maximum of 50 km one-way or full reimbursement public transport starting from 10 km)
  • A direct contract with client
  • Possibility for working from home for 2 or 3 days

What we ask:

  • Minimum mbo level 4 or equivalent ability background in tourism is a plus
  • A passion for travel, with a bonus if you have experience in tourism or customer service
  • Fluent in German and English
