As an Industrial Engineer NPI you work within an advanced high-tech environment where they produce modules and systems whose configuration changes rapidly. You are part of a project team together with Manufacturing Engineers and Industrialization Engineers. From a quality, technology, process and cost perspective, you are responsible for determining the optimal installation. You have an eye for improvements and are results-oriented. Collaboration comes naturally to you.
Important tasks are:
- Developing the (technical) construction sequence, which forms the basis for work instructions and work cell balancing.
- Initiate improvements to the assembly process in collaboration with team members with the aim of achieving both efficiency and quality improvements.
- Initiating process optimizations, cost savings, risk reductions and further professionalization.
- Making improvement proposals regarding the manufacturability of the product.
