Wat ga je doen?

As a fulltime duty manager in Amsterdam, you’ll work in a large and vibrant student hotel. You’ll be the main point of contact for the students, helping with questions, carrying out small repairs, and ensuring a safe and clean living environment. You’re the problem solver who quickly fixes a leaking tap or a broken window.

What your workday looks like

Imagine starting your day at 06:00 with a coffee and a short briefing. You check the reports from the previous night and do a round of the complex to see if anything needs immediate attention. Around 09:00, you welcome a new group of international students and give them a tour. In the afternoon, you repair a leaking tap and help a student who has lost their key. By 14:00, your day ends and you hand your duties over to your colleague on the evening shift.

Who are you?

You’re handy, which helps you solve problems quickly and effectively. You’re also social and helpful, making it easy for you to connect with the students and make them feel comfortable. You’re fluent English, which is essential in an international environment like this. Flexibility is key, as you’ll be working at different times, including weekends. Lastly, you can start as soon as possible.

Workdays and hours

As a full-time duty manager at the student hotel, you’ll work full-time with flexible hours, including morning and evening shifts. A typical workday might be from 06:00 to 14:00 or from 14:00 to 22:00, with a rotating schedule of four working days and two days off.

• A gross monthly salary of € 2.900,-
• A direct contract for 7 months at the company;
